•  Age Limit:

1.  18 - 27 years for Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant / Postman / Mail Guard

•  Pay Scales:

1.  Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: ₹ 25500 - 81100/- Level 4
2.  Postman / Mail Guard: ₹ 21700 - 69100/- Level 3
3.  MTS: ₹ 18000 - 56900/- Level 1

•  Educational Qualifications:

1.  Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant:

        (a) The candidate must have passed Matric with 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised university or                 Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education.
        (b) The candidates of higher qualifications w ill also be considered but they have to fulfil the above conditions. There will             be no preference for higher educational qualifications.
        (c) The candidate will be required to furnish certificate of Basic Computer Training from a recognized Computer Training             Institute.

1.  Postman / Mail Guard:

        (a) The candidate must have passed 12t h standard or equivalent examination from a recognised university or Board of             School                 Education or Board of Secondary Education.
        (b) Knowledge of Local Language i.e. Telugu. The candidate should have studied local language as a subject i.e. Telugu             at                     least up to 10th standard.
        (c) The person appointed to the post of Postman shall acquire a driving licence to drive two wheeler or three wheeler or             Light               Motor Vehicle within a period of two years from the date of his appointment. How ever, the person with disability             shall be                 exempted from the requirement of driving licence.

•  MTS:

            (a) The candidate must have passed 12t h standard or equivalent examination from a recognised university or Board                  of School Education or Board of Secondary Education.
           (b)  Knowledge of LOCAL LANGUAGE i.e. TELUGU. The candidate should have studied local language as a subject                     i.e. Telugu at least up to 10t h standard.
            (c) The person appointed to the post of Postman shall acquire a driving licence to drive two wheeler or three wheeler                   or Light Motor Vehicle within a period of two years from the date of his appointment. How ever, the person with                      disability shall be exempted from the requirement of driving licence.

•  Sports Eligibility:

1.  Sportsmen who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in any of the games / sports listed at official notification.
2.  Sportsmen who have represented their University in the Inter - University tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the games /sports listed at official notification.
3.  Sportsmen who have represented the State Schools Teams in the National Sports / Games for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federations in any of the games / sports listed at official notification.
4.  Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

•     Application Fee:

1.  ₹ 200/- for General / OBC category candidates.
2.  No fee for SC, ST, Women and Transgender candidates.
3.  The fee should be made through online payment mode.

TELANGANA POSTAL CIRCLE NOTIFICATION FOR THE POSTS OF GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS CYCLE – III

•  Age Limit:

1.  18 to 40 Years as on 27/01/2021.
2.  Upper Age relaxation - 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and Plus 10 years for PWD.

•  Educational Qualifications:

1.  Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/ State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.
2.  Compulsory knowledge of Local Language (i.e. Telugu)
3.  Basic Computer Training - The requirement of basic computer knowledge certificate shall be relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied computer as a subject in Matriculation or class XII or any other higher educational level and in such cases, a separate certificate will not be insisted upon.
4.  Knowledge of Cycling.

•  Job Residence: The candidate selected for the post of GDS BPM must mandatorily take up his/her residence in the Branch Post Office village within 01 Month after selection but before engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster. The candidate shall submit a declaration to this effect in the application. The candidate selected for the post of other than GDS BPM should reside in post village/delivery jurisdiction.

•  Selection Process: Selection will be made as per the automatic generated merit list as per the rules based on the candidates online submitted applications. No weightage will be given for higher educational qualification. Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory subject to the conditions referred in Clause B of Notifications pertaining to Required Educational Qualifications for taking candidate into account for calculating the merit.

•  Application Fee:

1.  ₹ 100/- for General (OC) / OBC / EWS Male / Trans-man candidates (For east set of five options).
2.  Candidate who requires to make the payment has to visit any Head Post Office or other identified Post Offices in India.
3.  The fee can be made through online mode using  Credit/Debit cards and Net Banking facility.
4.  The payment of fee is exempted for all Female / trans-woman candidates as well PwD candidates.

•  How to Apply: Eligible Interested candidates apply online through AP Post portal @ appost.in GDS Online. Only online application will be accepted from the candidate. The last date for submission of online applications is 01/03/2021.
