Qualification Details:

NHAI proposes to engage the services of retired Government Officers having retired at the level of Chief Engineer or above as Advisor (Technical) on contract basis for handling Arbitration matters in NHAI. Details of posts and terms & conditions as well as period of engagement, eligibility, experience etc. are as under:

1. Designation: Advisor (Technical)

2. Period of Contract: Initial tenure of engagement will be for a period of one year in the first instance, which may be further extended on yearly basis up to a period of two years , based on the requirements of the NHAI and the satisfactory performance.

3. Remuneration:

(i) In remuneration band of Rs.1,60,000/- to 1,75,000/- PM

(ii) In remuneration band of Rs.1,75,000/- to 2,00,000/- PM

4. Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university / institute.

5. Experience:

(i) Retired officers from Central/State Government /PSUs / Autonomous Bodies retired at the level equivalent to Chief Engineer and above.

(ii) At least 20 years’ experience in related field for post applied with good understanding of Contractual and Arbitration matters

6. Job Description:

(i) To assist in all Contractual Disputes/ Conciliation and Arbitration matters.

(ii) For effective monitoring and defending Arbitration Cases/contractual disputes in NHAI

(iii) Any other work entrusted from time to time.
